You must complete the League form (downloadable in the League Forms area on the League website) in order to request postponing a game.
The completed form needs to be submitted to the League Secretary 28 days prior to when the scheduled fixture was due to be played, (14 days in the case of the first two fixture dates of the season) with a cheque/postal order for £2.
Only make a request to postpone a fixture if you really need to.
The following are not valid reasons: “we have a few players away”. “We have a player suspended by the county FA”. We need to know how many are in your squad and why the players are missing.
A decision regarding granting permission will be made via email to your club secretary. You should liaise with your club secretary to find out the outcome of your request. If the request is granted, then a new date has submitted to your age group registrar in writing or by email, by both Clubs, within fourteen days of the postponement of the fixture date. Any Club failing to comply with this Rule shall be liable to a minimum fine of £10-00 or otherwise dealt with at the discretion of the Management Committee.
NOTE: 14 days and not 28 days is required in the case of the first two fixture dates of the season
The new postponement request is now live. You now log into your clubs league admin site – your club secretary will have your club details.
Click on teams – and then click on postponement. Complete the form online and then a decision will be made as soon as possible.
Remember to look to bring games forward and any requests granted mean that both teams have 14 days to provide the same date to the age-group registrar regarding the new date for the game.
