Hi All - In addition to the reduced fees this year, the league wants to help you prepare as a club to create an environment that is safe for everyone and allows you to play under FA and Government guidance. Therefore, the league has released the SDJSFL Covid-19 fund. We're hoping this will reduce the need for clubs to be paying out more money in an already difficult year.
Each club can put one application into this fund for their whole club. The funding is limited for this but we currently hope to help as many of our clubs as possible.
In addition to this we have had a volunteer from Stocksbridge Park Steels come forward to help us write an application to apply for open grants which will hopefully increase the money available through this fund, and the hardship fund. The volunteer is Mr Richard Sutcliffe and if you are interested in this service for your club please email: funding4sport@hotmail.co.uk.
We will send an update on the Hardhship fund closer to the season starting.
Kind regards
