The League has discussed the issue of Coronavirus all day following the decision by the Professional Games Bodies to postpone fixtures until the 3rd April. The League has taken advice from the FA (https://www.thefa.com/news/2020/mar/13/fa-grassroots-covid-19-130320 ) concerning matters and also looked at the ongoing advice from Public Health and the Government especially regarding school closures etc.
The League committee have discussed options at length and at this moment in time the decision is for fixtures to carry on as the FA currently advise however respecting that some clubs will not wish to play. If a team/club wishes not to play they need to inform their opponents and age-group registrar.
The League reiterates the advice of Public Health and the Government, especially if any player or coach etc is showing symptoms such as a temperature or dry cough then they should be self isolating as per the current procedures.
The League will continue to monitor this ever changing situation and will issue updates as and when required.
