GiveToLocal has been specifically designed to help grassroots football clubs connect into their local communities by demonstrating the hugely positive social role they play in providing football opportunities for players young and old. You can find out more at our website

However, as we know from our own extensive research and research from the Football Association, grassroots clubs have a huge amount of challenges and in one way or another it always comes back to finance and the ability to operate on a sustainable basis. Whether it is the challenge of providing appropriate pitches for matches and training, changing facilities, referees, CPD opportunities or kit and equipment the list is endless, always costs a lot and always falls to what is often a small group of very dedicated volunteers to somehow square the circle.

In helping clubs become more sustainable by securing regular funding from individuals and businesses from within their community, the leagues in which they play, a key and integral part of the grassroots game become stronger.

GiveToLocal has already signed up over 23,000 teams and each day that number grows. To support the FA’s grassroots strategy and to support the further development of the game, only clubs that have achieved FA Charter Standard and FA Community Standard status can sign up to GiveToLocal.

There has never been a better time to get involved with GiveToLocal and just yesterday we launched our largest ever giveaway of £30,000 to be drawn on 18th December at a live event in London. Details can be found on both our website and our facebook page
