It’s that time of the year again when it should have been Thomas Bothamley’s 17th birthday on Monday.
His mum Keira continues to do amazing work through the Thomas Bothamley Defibrillator Fund and next year should hit the milestone of £50,000 raised since Tom gained his angel wings on the 7th July 2016. This money has been pumped back into the community to pay for the installation and upkeep of defibrillators and screening of young people to pay for heart screening.
Each of Tom’s defibrillators have been used on multiple occasions to save lives, Toms legacy goes on.
Last year, you helped us mark Tom’s birthday by asking for a minutes applause for Tom at your Sunday matches, this provided great comfort to his family and friends that Tom continues to be remembered.
