I am writing on behalf of the Steels FC, as we would like you to share our story from last weekends fixture, when one of our players playing in the Under 15 Division C Blue, collapsed after experiencing a heart attack, Our player Daniel Lowe was fortunate that on the day, our Juniors Chairman Ian Cavanagh who was refereeing the match, was aware we had a Defibrillator at the ground, he organised and 3 others performed heroics to save this young lads life, as a club we have featured the event on Social Media, and we are going to continue to campaign to ensure all sports teams have this piece of equipment available

Stocksbridge Park Steels will be naming our heroes and ensure they get the recognition they deserve, 1 is the Team coach Nikolaus Dodsworth and the other 2 are Nurses who had gone to watch their boys play for Maltby Juniors, I hope your league may also contribute and share this story,

The 3 Hero's are

Claire O’Connor (Staff Nurse -Northern General Hospital)

Jayne Waite (Community Staff Nurse- Health Village Rotherham )

Nikolaus Dodsworth (Police Officer)

Roger Gissing

Vice Chairman
