*Club Welfare OfficerÂ Needed*
We are looking for a compassionate, forward-thinking and progressive individualÂ to come and join our club as Club Welfare Officer.
1. Being informed and aware of the league or clubâ€™s responsibilities when runningÂ football activities for children and young people. For example:
â€¢ ensuring these responsibilities are well understood by others
â€¢ developing best practice processes.
2. Helping league and club personnel understand their â€˜duty of careâ€™ towardsÂ children and young people. For example:
â€¢ ensuring all relevant people complete The FAâ€™s â€˜Safeguarding Childrenâ€™Â training programme
â€¢ helping to make sure trips away are organised properly
â€¢ managing the roll out of FA DBS checks.
3. Taking all reports of malpractice seriously, implementing appropriateÂ investigations and informing appropriate authorities where necessary.
4. To work alongside the Club Secretary to onboard all new volunteers.
