Sin Bin Survey

We are now 4 months into the sin Bin Pilot and across all 31 Leagues participating in the Pilot the statistics have shown a decrease in dissent by 34%.  Whilst this is a rally positive indicator on the success of the pilot, it is also important to consider the impact of sin bins on the enjoyment of the game.

As mentioned in the training however, in addition to the statistical analysis, it is our intention to see the feedback from those participating in the Leagues on the impact of the Sin Bins. I am therefore asking all Leagues to circulate the link below to a survey that will enable us to consider the individual perceptions.

Please could I ask that the Leagues circulate the link below to all League Officers, Clubs and Referees in your League in order to obtain their individual feedback.  Please also ask the Clubs to circulate the survey to all Team Managers and Adult Players for their feedback.

Link for the survey :

The survey will be open for 3 weeks and will close on Friday 12th January 2018.

The results of the survey will then be analysed and considered at appropriate FA meetings in January for consideration on the potential introduction of Sin Bins on a wider scale.

Can I thank you for your assistance in circulating the survey and for your continued support in the pilot.

Wishing you all an enjoyable festive season and New Year.

Kindest Regards
