SHCFA are hosting the annual RAFA event on the 20th August 2017. This event provides an outstanding learning environment for those wanting to develop their officiating skills.

This is the 3rd time SHCFA have hosted this event at Staveley Miners Welfare, an event centred around developing referees skills on the field of play.

Craig Grundy, Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA’s Football Development Officer (Referees)says

“this is a fantastic learning opportunity for all referees starting out in the game, with numerous quality sessions, delivered by our team of tutors. We are supporting referees with the implementation of the new temporary dismissal procedure too”

The morning will see 4 practical training sessions delivered by our expert team of tutors being supported by match officials from the Football League, followed by a free buffet style lunch.

The afternoon boasts a session on the new temporary dismissal procedures and a guest panel full of expertise.

Each attendee will get a free gift for being a part of the day and entry into a prize raffle.

Places are limited so if you would like to reserve your free place email Craig Grundy (craig.grundy@sheffieldfa.com)
